  1. POLYCYSTIC LIVER DISEASE (33.6 POUNDS) WITH MULTIPLE VON MEYENBERG COMPLEXES.
  2. ATHEROSCLEROTIC CHANGES INVOLVING THE HEPATIC ARTERY.
  3. INTIMAL THICKENING AND MYXOID CHANGE IN THE PORTAL VEINS.
  4. GALLBLADDER WITH AUTOLYTIC CHANGE, MINIMAL CHRONIC INFLAMMATION AND FIBROSIS.
PART 2: LEFT KIDNEY, NEPHRECTOMY-
  1. POLYCYSTIC KIDNEY DISEASE (1430 GM).
  2. ATHEROSCLEROSIS OF RENAL ARTERY AND ITS INTRA-RENAL BRANCHES.
PART 3: SPLEEN, SPLENECTOMY-CONGESTED SPLEEN (130 GM) WITH CYSTIC CHANGE.

ADDENDUM #1

Immunohistochemical markers showed the splenic cysts to be lined by mostly Factor-VIII positive cells. Focal staining for AE1/AE3 was also occasionally demonstrable, but, is of questionable significance. These findings suggest that the cysts observed in the spleen may represent hemangiomas.
