Automatically delivers AP reports to UPMC wards, clinics and doctors’ offices. Deployed in October 1994.
Uses networked printers for in-house delivery, FAX machines for outpatients sites. 65000 pages of reports are delivered every month.
Delivers hard copy reports to point of care hourly.
Scheduled delivery promotes organization on the wards.
Decreases AP turn around time (TAT).
Cost savings include one FTE since program implementation.
