With our image database we have
successfully deployed strategies to:
- Reduce cross contamination in the gross room by
capturing sectioning diagrams and drawings
- Scan in images of the patient requisitions
health concern and lost data from clinician)
- Replace photo images of patient's clinical
specimens (both gross and microscopic)
- Replaced a variety of cost intensive medical
images (e.g. transmission electron micrographs,
fluorescence images, etc...).
