• Automatically attaches SNOMED coding to reports on

the basis of diagnosis/location.

• Significantly decreased the work load on residents.

• Allow for greater access to database for academic and

clinical reports.

• Not as robust as needed so we needed to begin developing

a new indexing tool (LSVT enhanced UMLS).
