- Disguise vulnerable areas
- Secure Host Network (NT Security).
General Practices include:
- sound authentication of users
- use a solid operating system
- limit access to the server
- limit activities on the server
- control the “trusted network”
- you can’t buy a firewall.
The UPMC network architecture is in
a state of “flux”. Our firewall systems
are only now being developed.
